We had a great show at the Milton Community Center this past weekend. Met a lot of nice people including other vendors who we only knew virtually. The first show is always tough – especially this year because we added a lot of new products in our down season (January through April). I was also supposed to be outside but because of all of the torrential rain was moved inside (thank you to Gem, event organizer). I was also put on a corner and given an extra 6 foot table! So I was able to stretch out a bit.
I purchased some new “easy” to assemble product stands and, after some sweating and stressing, was able to put them together. I like them a lot – when I tore down I left them intact. Still trying to figure out the best way to display the candles – in the box? out of the box? all of them en masse? just want to sample? And the beard ‘Stache Wax in the lip balm tubes is tough too because they fall down easily – I need to find some kind of display unit made for lip balm packaging.
Many, many people came up to ask what the Milk Bath Salts were – most people thought it was parmesan cheese. But, it’s not and I think they may have been disappointed. I think that will change when I reveal the new look for these bottles!
